Hoya Hockey goes into their Christmas break with a pivotal 4-2 win over Calvert Hall. Even though Calvert Hall put the first goal on the board, Prep was resilient and scored a shorthanded goal by Alex Chaconas assisted by Pat Fitzgerald to tie it at 1-1. Moments later the Hoyas went on the power play and scored the go-ahead goal by Connor McMahon. Midway through the second Calvert responded to tie the game 2-2. The final minute of the period the Hoyas regained their one goal lead with a tally by Jack Donovan assisted by Nathaniel Deleede and Daniel Cole. The Hoyas would then ice the game midway through the third period with a goal scored by Peter Roache assisted by Pat Fitzgerald, Daniel Cole and Nolan Urgo. Will Boggs continued his solid play in net stopping 18 of 20 shots sent his way and continues to post a solid two goals against average in league play. The Hoyas move to 3-0 in the MAPHL and will resume league play on January 9th against St. Johns in Rockville.
