Gregg Marinari Named New Varsity Hockey Coach

Dateline: 8/3/15

Dear Prep Hockey Team and Parents,

I write today to share important news about a leadership announcement in the Georgetown Prep hockey program. Gregg Marinari has been named head coach of the varsity hockey team.

Coach Marinari has an extensive hockey background. Most currently, he directed the well-respected Team Maryland AAA club team. In addition, Coach Marinari served as the head coach for USA Hockey’s summer development and training programs in Colorado Springs, CO. There, he assisted in planning and managing player development camps and coaching education seminars.

A 2004 graduate of Drexel University, Coach Marinari served as the hockey program’s head coach for ten years and served as an assistant coach at the University of Pennsylvania for the 2014 season.

Please join me in welcoming Coach Marinari to the Georgetown Prep family!

Sincerely,

Dan Paro ’79
Athletic Director
